A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That With A Hat

Hello Kittens! I hope y’all had an amazing week, I’m so happy it’s Friday!

Today I am serving up a touch of chic glam, this outfit is giving me life. The P***y Bow to me is everything; it’s fun and sophisticated. I am also wearing a knit black scoop neck bodysuit from Sweet Dirt, which can be found here. I chose to pair the bodysuit with a  fashion must have for any woman, a classic black pencil skirt. I love pencil skirts, because they can be worn with anything and they bring a hint of glamour to your outfit. The pencil skirt can be found here. In order to complete the look I chose to wear a Sweet Dirt black floppy hat which can be found hereI feel like a woman on a mission ready to handle her business in this outfit, while strutting around in my Gianni Bini studded platforms heels.

Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments section.

Leisure Wear for When You’re on The Go

Hey Kittens! I hope you’re all doing wonderfully! I can honestly say that the past couple weeks have been a whirlwind for me. Since launching Sweet Dirt kids and looking into Spring/Summer’17.  I have spent a great deal of my time; on the phone, the computer, and in my car.

I have quickly learned  that although I’m in the fashion industry, my job is far from glamourous. I spend a great deal of time in my car, traveling to vendors, and fashion markets. So in this post  I decided to take a more leisurely approach to my outfit.  I have learned that when one has to  sit in a car for 2 to 4 hours one way, comfort is a top priority.

I’m wearing a check plaid long sleeve jacket, over my Sweet Dirt two piece crop top  and bottom set, which can be found here.  It’s a woven two piece crop top and bottom set, that features a mock neckline, long sleeves and cutouts in the knees. It’s quickly become one of my favorite outfits, because I love crop tops and the cutouts in the knees make me feel a little badass..lol! I also paired it with a beanie with a pompom that I found in the men’s department in Forever 21!

Well that’s it for today, I hope y’all have a great and productive week! I’ll no doubt be  spending the rest of my week in my car, headed to shows.  Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments section.

“Forever to thee” A Fashion Ode to USC

Hello Kittens! I hope y’all are doing well!

I’ve been feeling a little nostalgic about my college days, when I attended the University of South Carolina.  The campus that is in the middle of downtown Columbia. The Heartbeat of South Carolina, the Garnet and Black. We may not win  many football games and our mascot may be a rooster(lol), but the pride will always be there.  I am so happy I had the privilege of attending the outstanding and amazing University of South Carolina; my Alma Mater.

“Forever to Thee” the real USC,  I dress for thee. I chose to  wear a  Sweet Dirt,  black chiffon ruffled blouse with cutout shoulders, sheer long sleeves and buttoned cuffs, which can be found hereI paired it with a garnet fit and flare skirt that I purchased from Forever 21, my Gianni Bini studded platforms,  a wide brim floppy hat (because as y’all know, I love hats), and my favorite floral print bag, that I  found at Nordstrom on sale!

(Oh and the last two pictures are what happens when I hear any Bruno Mars song..lol!)

I hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Don’t Be Mad, Get Off Your Ass, and Do Something…

Hey Everyone! Since it’s a new year I have decided to embark on a new blogging journey and incorporate other parts to my blog. As much as I love fashion( I truly do) there are so many different parts to me.

My name is Jennifer Amber, I graduated from the  University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in History.  I am one semester away from a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, a year from a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, and last December I graduated with my Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Needless to say, I don’t believe in complacency, I was raised to always strive for excellence and personal growth. I’m always looking for ways to become a better version of myself.
